Dickinson Swims Past Shorewomen, 135-65

Glasser Wins Three Individual Events in Loss

CARLISLE, PA -- Host Dickinson College defeated visiting Washington College, 135-65, in a Centennial Conference women's swim meet this afternoon in Carlisle, PA.  Senior Rachel Glasser (Silver Spring, MD/Springbrook) won three individual events for the Shorewomen (4-4, 1-3 Centennial) in the loss.

She was first in the 1000 freestyle in 10:53.19, first in the 200 freestyle in 1:56.40, and first in the 500 freestyle in 5:16.55. 

Junior Jenna Moore (Catonsville, MD/Mount de Sales) was second in both the 50 freestyle (25.66) and the 100 freestyle (57.01) for Washington, while freshman Samantha Gross (Pottstown, PA/Pottsgrove) was second in the 200 individual medley in 2:25.57.

Freshman Hilary Badger (Baltimore, MD/Mount de Sales), Moore, sophomore Alix Batesko (Mountain Lakes, NJ/Mountain Lakes), and  freshman Carly Ogren (Burke, VA/Lake Braddock) won the 400 medley relay in 4:17.66.  Badger also posted a Washington College season-best time of 2:25.02 in the 200 backstroke, finishing fourth.

The Shorewomen return to action Wednesday with a 6:00 p.m. Centennial Conference meet at Swarthmore.
