ST. MARY'S CITY, MD -- The Washington College women's swim team slipped to 1-2 this season with a 151-50 loss at St. Mary's College of Maryland in a non-conference dual meet tonight.
St. Mary's won 10 of 11 events against the Shorewomen with junior Ellie Miskiel (Gaithersburg, MD/Quince Orchard) supplying Washington's first-place finish by touching the wall in 26.03 in the 50 freestyle. Miskiel also took second in the 100 breaststroke in 1:10.91.
Junior Carly Ogren (Burke, VA/Lake Braddock) added a second-place finish in the 100 freestyle in 57.28, while sophomore Alicia Howard (Wilmington, DE/Charter School of Wilmington) placed second in the 100 backstroke in 1:07.27.
The Shorewomen return to action one week from today with a 5:00 p.m. Centennial Conference home meet against Bryn Mawr.
