The Shorewomen's lone first-place finish came in the 100 backstroke where freshman Joelle Williamson (Conestoga, Pa./Penn Manor) turned in a first-place time of 1:01.57, making her Washington's fourth-fastest swimmer ever in that event. She added a second-place finish of 2:18.04 in the 200 backstroke.

Three other Washington freshmen turned in individual second-place finishes in their collegiate debuts.
