Shorewomen Turn in Top Time in All 11 Events
ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. — The Washington College women's swim team recorded the top time in all 11 events of a 129-71 non-conference win at Elizabethtown this afternoon. The Shorewomen improved to 3-3, while the Blue Jays dropped to 4-5.

How It Happened
- Mackenzie Gaze, Julia Portmann, Ellen Maxwell, and Jenni Clune each had the top time in two individual events. Gaze won the 50 freestyle (26.19) and 500 freestyle (5:46.41), Portmann won the 1000 freestyle (11:23.64) and 100 freestyle (58.05), and Maxwell won the 200 freestyle (2:05.35) and 100 backstroke (1:05.46). Jenni Clune won the 100 individual medley in 1:04.76 and, swimming as an exhibition entrant, paced the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:12.12.
- Katie Gorman won the 100 butterfly in 1:04.10 and was second in the 100 individual medley in 1:05.67.
- Maija Adourian, Clune, Gaze, and Gorman won the 200 medley relay in 1:58.00, while Maxwell, Anna Schmittle, Emma Silber, and Portmann turned in the fastest time in the 200 freestyle relay (1:48.29) as an exhibition.
- Schmittle was also second in the 1000 freestyle in 11:59.78 and in the 100 freestyle in 59.54. Jackie Creitz took second in the 100 backstroke in 1:09.48, while Silber was second in the 500 freestyle in 5:52.74.
