Portmann Wins Three Individual Events for Shorewomen

GETTYSBURG, Pa. — Host Gettysburg College won 10 of 14 events en route to a 164.5-96.5 Centennial Conference women's swimming victory over visiting Washington College this afternoon.

Shorewomen Highlights
- Julia Portmann won three individual events in the loss for the Shorewomen. She took the 1000 freestyle in 11:11.19, the 200 freestyle in 2:00.15, and the 500 freestyle in 5:28.72.
- Jenni Clune won the 100 breaststroke in 1:09.74 and was second in the 100 freestyle in 55.09 and the 200 individual medley in 2:18.25.
- Katie Gorman added a second-place finish in the 50 freestyle in 25.03, while Lindsay Wiecki was second in the 100 butterfly in 1:03.10.

Notes
- Gettysburg improved to 2-0 overall and 2-0 in conference meets with the win. The Shorewomen fell to 1-2 and 1-1 with the loss.
