Gallagher Wins Three Individual Races For Shorewomen
CHESTERTOWN, Md. — Host Washington College won 11 of the 14 events en route to a 166-92 win over visiting St. Mary's College of Maryland in a non-conference swim meet tonight at the Casey Swim Center in Chestertown, Maryland. Allison Gallagher (Saunderstown, R.I. / Exeter-West Greenwich Regional) led the Shorewomen with three individual race wins on the night.

How It Happened
- Gallagher won the 100 backstroke in 1:04.02, the 200 backstroke in 2:18.28, and the 200 individual medley in 2:20.51. Anna Hall finished second in the 200 IM in 2:20.73, and Alex May finished third in 2:25.03 to give the Shorewomen a 1-2-3 finish in the event.
- Hall added wins in the 200 butterfly in 2:21.72 and the 100 butterfly in 1:01.59, while May won the 200 freestyle in 2:07.64.
- Kristina Curley swept the distance events, winning the 1000 freestyle in 11:34.66 and the 500 freestyle in 5:40.37.
- Teresa Draves won both breaststroke events, winning the 100 breaststroke in 1:12.00 and then the 200 breaststroke in 2:33.00.
- Draves, Curley, Lindsay Strauss and Savannah Quade finished the meet by winning the 400 freestyle relay in a time of 3:51.25.
- Draves added a second place finish in the 50 freestyle, while Strauss was second in the 100 freestyle.
- Lindsay Wiecki added a pair of second place finishes in the 100 butterfly and 200 butterfly.

- Gallagher was named the Goose Nation TV Shorewomen Swimmer Of The Meet for the first time in her career.
- The Shorewomen improve to 2-4 on the season, while the Seahawks fall to 1-4.
