Curley, Draves, Luecke Win Two Individual Events Each

CHESTERTOWN, Md. — The host Washington College women's swim team picked up its 33rd consecutive win over Eastern Shore rival Salisbury University tonight as the Shorewomen defeated the Sea Gulls, 136-69, in a non-conference meet inside Casey Swim Center.

Shorewomen Highlights
- Kristina Curley, Teresa Draves, and Alexa Luecke each won two individual events for the Shorewomen. Curley won the 1000 freestyle in 11:32.11 and the 500 freestyle in 5:38.45. Draves won the 200 individual medley in 2:16.98 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:11.13. Luecke won the 100 freestyle in 55.15 and the 200 freestyle in 2:00.27.
- Anna Hall won the 100 butterfly in 1:02.43 and Allison Gallagher won the 100 backstroke in 1:03.66.
- Draves, Emily Homer, Hall, and Luecke won the 400 medley relay in 4:13.17.
- Lindsay Strauss, Savannah Quade, Sydney Mika, and Gallagher won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:47.78.
- Alex May was second in two individual events - the 200 freestyle (2:07.68) and the 500 freestyle (2:07.68). Gallagher was second in the 200 individual medley in 2:23.04, while Homer was second in the 100 breaststroke in 1:12.51.

Notes
- Curley was named the Goose Nation TV Shorewomen Swimmer of the Meet.
- The Shorewomen improved to 1-4 on the season with the win, while the Sea Gulls dropped to 2-2.
- The Shorewomen are now 33-1 all-time against the Sea Gulls. Salisbury's lone win in the all-time series came during the  1985-86 season.
