800 Freestyle Relay Team Sets New Casey Swim Center Standard

CHESTERTOWN, Md. — The host Washington College men's swim team broke a pool record and cruised to a 124-48 Centennial Conference win over visiting McDaniel this afternoon inside Casey Swim Center in the dual-meet finale for both teams.

Shoremen Highlights
- Andrew Feeley, Aidan Sullivan, Nate Braddock, and Brendan Jones broke the pool record in the 800 freestyle relay with a time of 7:16.32.
- The Shoremen opened the meet by winning the 200 medley relay as Feeley, Teague Sauter, Seth Wrigley, and Sullivan won that event in 1:40.60.
- Braddock won two individual events, taking the 200 freestyle in 1:49.34 and the 500 freestyle in 4:56.21. Brett Edwards also won two individual events, finishing first in the 1000 freestyle in 11:03.01 and in the 100 breaststroke in 1:02.30. He was also second in the 100 individual medley in 58.49.
- Jones won the 100 freestyle in 50.39 and placed second in the 200 freestyle in 1:50.32. Sullivan won the 100 individual medley in 55.41, Joseph Bozzi won the 100 butterfly in 54.02, and Feeley won the 200 backstroke in 1:58.36.
- Wrigley added a second-place finish in the 1000 freestyle in 12:35.29, while Sauter was second in the 100 breaststroke in 1:05.69.

Notes
- The Shoremen finish their dual-meet schedule with a 3-8 overall record and a 1-5 mark in conference meets. The Green Terror finish 2-8 and 0-6.
- Braddock was named the Goose Nation TV Shoremen Swimmer of the Meet.
- This was the final home meet for Washington senior Josh Samuels.
