Luecke Wins Two Events for Washington
WESTMINSTER, Md. – The Washington College women's swim team was edged out on Saturday afternoon by host McDaniel, 45-41, at Harlow Pool in Centennial Conference women's swimming action. The meet came down to the final event, the 400 freestyle relay which the Green Terror (3:43.90) won by 1.6 seconds over the Shorewomen (3:45.50).

Shorewomen Highlights
- Alexa Luecke finished first in the 100 butterfly (1:02.67) and the 100 breaststroke (1:12.38). The Shorewomen went 1-2 in the butterfly as Kristina Curley finished with a time of 1:03.27.
- Teresa Draves grabbed victory in the 200 freestyle, winning the event in 2:02.76. She took second place in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:03.27.
- The 200 medley relay squad of Savannah Quade, Emily Homer, Luecke and Allison Gallagher won the race in 1:58.32 and the team of Ana Reynoso-Zimmerer, Alex Searles, Curley and Anna Hall completed the 1-2 for WC in 1:59.94.
- Gallagher was second in the 200 individual medley (2:21.23), Hall placed second in the 100 freestyle (57.38) and Lindsay Wiecki earned second in the 500 freestyle (5:44.98)
- The team of Draves, Curley, Lindsay Strauss and Gallagher had the time of 3:45.50 in the 400 freestyle relay.
Notes
- Both teams completed their dual meet seasons this afternoon. The Shorewomen finish the dual meet season at 4-8 overall and 1-5 in the conference, while the Green Terror conclude the dual meet season at 5-6 overall and 2-5 in the Centennial.
