CHESTERTOWN, Md. – The Washington College men's swim team captured 11 of 13 events on Saturday afternoon in a 153-47 win over visiting McDaniel at the Casey Swim Center in Centennial Conference men's swimming action. It was the home opener for the Shoremen.

Shoremen Highlights

Gage Mandrell won a trio of events for the Shoremen as he took top spot in the 100-yard freestyle (47.52), the 100 breaststroke (59.16) and the 500 freestyle (4:56.46).

Bianti Danaj captured two events on the afternoon as he won the 100 butterfly (53.58) and the 100 backstroke (56.41).
- Winning one event each were
Zach Affeldt in the 200 freestyle (1:49.88),
Joey Bond in the 200 breaststroke (2:20.50),
Chase Hensen in the 50 freestyle (22.71) and
William Schmidt in the 200 backstroke (2:03.35).
- The 200 medley relay team of
Justin Morris,
Jay Dadhania,
Justin Fitzpatrick and Danaj notched first place with a time of 1:40.33 and the 400 freestyle relay squad of Morris, Danaj,
Liam Peregoy and Schmidt recorded the top time of 3:20.97.
Notes
- The Shoremen are now 2-3 overall and 2-2 in the Centennial and the Green Terror fall to 1-6 and 0-5 respectively.
