Diplomats Down Shorewomen, 175-77

Iampieri and Smith Win One Event Each for Washington

LANCASTER, Pa. – Host Franklin & Marshall topped visiting Washington College, 175-77, on Saturday afternoon in a Centennial Conference women's swim meet on Saturday at McGinness Pool.  It was the regular season finale for the Shorewomen.

Shorewomen Highlights
- Kylee Smith took first in the 200 freestyle (2:00.82) and Emma Schultz placed second in the event (2:02.50) as the Shorwomen took 1-2 in the race.
- Emily Iampieri captured the 100 freestyle as she had a time of 53.94.
- Lilly Hartmann (2:18.65) nearly won the 200 individual medley as she finished just .02 of a second behind the Diplomats' Jenna Liu (2:18.63).

Notes
- The Diplomats are 7-3 overall and 5-2 in the conference, while Shorewomen finish their dual meet season at 3-6 overall and 2-5 in the Centennial.
- F&M's Georgia May is the sister of Washington's Alex May.
