Freshman swimmer Lauren Paules (Blandon, Pa./Fleetwood Area) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Paules reached the A Final in the 500 freestyle at the 2023 Centennial Conference Championships this weekend at Gettysburg and is now in the program's all-time Top 10 in four different events.

Paules became seventh all-time in the in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:13.01 in the preliminary round and in the final, the freshman finished eighth overall (5:14.86). She placed 12th in the 200 freestyle (1:58.36) after a preliminary time of 1:58.24, which is 10th all-time at Washington. Paules concluded her conference championships with a time of 18:15.39 in the 1650 freestyle, good for ninth all-time at Washington, and her time of 10:57.88 through 1000 yards of the event qualifies her for seventh all-time in the 1000 freestyle.

This is Paules' first career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
