CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting Haverford outscored host Washington College 10-3 in the second half to turn an 8-7 halftime lead into an 18-10 win in a Centennial Conference women's lacrosse game on Wednesday evening at Kibler Field at Roy Kirby Jr. Stadium. The Fords improve to 7-3 overall and 3-0 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen fall to 5-5 and 1-2 respectively.

How It Happened

Ellie Morrall started a game-opening 3-0 run exactly two minutes into the first quarter.Â
Anna Wilson would score the next two in a span of 1:36 to give the hosts a 3-0 lead with 8:22 remaining.
- Haverford would score the last four goals of the first quarter to lead 4-3 after one.Â
Katharine Ference got the scoring started for the Fords with 6:54 to go from
Sam Silverman as she scored three of the four, including the goal that put the visitors ahead 4-3 with 3:38 remaining in the quarter as the guests scored the four in a span of 3:16. Â
- In the second quarter,
Mia Salvatierra would cap a 4-2 run for the Shorewomen to give the hosts a 7-6 lead with 1:58 remaining.
- The Fords would score the final two goals of the second to take an 8-7 lead into halftime as
Julia Curran tied it from Silverman with 1:12 left and Silverman put Haverford ahead for good with 26.9 seconds left.
- Silverman would score the first two of the third before
Jacquelyn Jardini made it 11-7 with 8:29 to go.

Tobin Chambers got one back for Washington with 4:09 left in the quarter on a free position and it would be a three-goal lead, 11-8, for Haverford entering the fourth.
- The Fords would score the first four of the fourth quarter to lead 15-8 with 8:05 left on an up goal by Silverman from
Tiffany Miklulis.
- WC would get the next two goals to cut the lead to 15-10 with 6:42 left on a Salvatierra score from Morrall to cap a run of two goals in 44 ticks. Devlin score the first from Morrall with 7:26 remaining.
- Haverford ended the Washington comeback attempt by netting the final three goals of the game to round out the scoring.
