CHESTERTOWN, Md. – The Washington College women's swim team won eight out of 14 events, but it was not enough as visiting Elizabethtown came away with a 129-119 win on Saturday afternoon at the Casey Swim Center in non-conference women's swimming action on Senior Day.Â

Kylee Smith nabbed three victories, taking first in the 100-yard freestyle (54:90), 100 butterfly (59.81) and 200 butterfly (2:15.55).

Lauren Paules earned wins in the 500 freestyle (5:31.54) and 1000 freestyle (11:22.01).

Kennedy Jones grabbed first place in the 50 freestyle (26.38).

Emma Schultz took top spot in the 200 individual medley (2:21.88).
- The 200 freestyle relay team of Smith, Jones, Paules, and Schultz captured the relay in 1:43.71.
Notes
- Paules was named the Goose Nation TV Shorewoman Swimmer of the Meet on the broadcast.
- It was senior day and the team recognized Jones, Schultz and
Kenley Hewitt prior to the meet.
- The Blue Jays are now 8-3 on the season and Shorewomen are 3-7.
- The two teams were meeting for the first time since the 2015-16 season.
