CHESTERTOWN, Md. – The Washington College women's swim team captured the top time in all 11 events to down visiting McDaniel, 138-51, on Saturday afternoon at the Casey Swim Center in Centennial Conference women's swimming action. It was the home opener for the Shorewomen.

Shorewomen Highlights

Brooke Bailey was the lone Shorewomen to win two events as she grabbed the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.82) and 200 individual medley (2:13.61).
- Capturing one event each were
Julia Banker in the 500 freestyle (5:34.93),
Gabby Bonds in the 100 freestyle (58.49),
Ayana Davis in the 50 freestyle (26.55),
Samantha Denlea in the 1000 freestyle (11:31.76),
Vanessa Fry in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.84),
Lauren Paules in the 200 freestyle (2:03.28) and
Kylee Smith in the 100 butterfly (1:00.15).
- The 200 medley relay team of
Kenzie Gorman, Fry, Bailey and
Sarah Seale won the race in 1:52.71 and the 200 freestyle relay squad of Smith, Davis, Bonds and Paules had the best time of 1:44.70.
Notes
- The Shorewomen improve to 3-1 overall and 3-1 in the Centennial, while the Green Terror drop to 0-4 overall and 0-4 in the conference.
