How It Happened
  • The Diplomats went on a 4-0 run to begin the game. The first goal for the Shorewomen came off a free position shot from Tobin Chambers. A won draw control and then turnover by the Shorewomen gave the ball back to F&M for them to score less than a minute later. The Shorewomen trailed 6-1 going into the second quarter.
  • Seashole put in the work on defense tallying seven saves in just the first quarter.
  • MaryCate Anson and Morgan Sutherland had two back to back shots in the seventh minute of the second but both were unsuccessful. The Shorewomen wouldn't score again until the 11th minute of the third when Sutherland scored a man up goal to lessen the deficit 13-2. The Shorewomen gave up four more goals that quarter.
  • Another man up goal for Washington, Ashley Devlin from Valerie Rock, in the first minute of the fourth breathed some life back into the Shorewomen. They scored twice more this quarter, both from Mia Salvatierra, but it was not enough as the Shorewomen fell 20-5.

For The Shoremen (7-6)
Salvatierra led the team with 2 points, both coming from her fourth quarter goals.
