Freshman men's golfer Johnathan Stumpff (California, Md./Leonardtown) is this week's Shoreman of the Week. Stumpff had the best finish for a Shoremen since the program was re-established in 2023-24, tying for second, this past Friday and Saturday at Ursinus' The Bear in Kutztown, Pennsylvania.

Stumpff, who totaled a 147 (70-77) over the two days, fired off a 70 to lead all competitors with six birdies on Friday in the first round of the tournament. On Saturday, the freshman shot a 77 to complete the weekend with a birdie on the second hole. He was one of the two Division III golfers to finish in the top five as three were from Division I's Villanova. 

This is Stumpff's first Shoreman of the Week Award.
