CHESTERTOWN, Md. – The Washington College women's swim team won 10 of 11 events against in the regular season finale to top visiting Bryn Mawr 139-62 in a Centennial Conference meet and guest Susquehanna 135-62 in a non-conference meet at the Casey Swim Center in women's swimming action. In the meet, the Shorewomen set the pool record in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Shorewomen Highlights
- The 400-yard freestyle relay team of
Brooke Bailey,
Kenzie Gorman,
Lauren Paules and
Kylee Smith set the pool record in the event with a time of 3:40.51, breaking a record that stood for over two decades.
- The 400 medley relay quartet of
Julia Banker,
Vanessa Fry, Gorman and
Sarah Seale were first in a time of 4:13.53.
- Bailey won a pair of events, taking the 100 butterfly (59.83) and the 1000 freestyle (11:25.23).
- Smith took first place in the 50 freestyle (25.47) and 500 freestyle (5:36.68).
- Banker beat out five other swimmers to grab the 100 individual medley (1:04.72)
- Fry netted first in the 100 breaststroke (1:11.77) and entered the team's top 10 in the 100 individual medley with a time of 1:06.21 in the 100 individual medley.
- Gorman secured victory for the home team in the 100 freestyle (56.37).
- Paules recorded first in the 200 freestyle (2:01.79).
Notes
- In the third leg of the tri-meet, Bryn Mawr edged Susquehanna 104-97.
- The Shorewomen conclude the regular season at 10-4 overall and 4-3 in the Centennial. It is the first time WC has won 10 dual meets in a season since 2008-09 when the squad was 10-4.
- The Owls are now 6-9 overall and 1-6 in the Centennial, while the River Hawks are 5-7 on the season as it was the regular season finale for all three teams.
- Smith was named the Goose Nation TV Shorewman Swimmer of the Meet.
- Prior to the meet, the team honored seniors Smith,
Ayana Davis and
Courtney Poetsch.
