ORLANDO, Fla. – West Chester edged Washington College 4-3 on Wednesday afternoon at the USTA Tennis Center in a non-conference and inter-divisional women's tennis match.

Doubles
- The Division II Rams won all three doubles to net the doubles point. Third doubles finished first as
Isabella Sorhegui and
Gaby Coutts fell 6-0 to West Chester's No. 3 doubles tandem. Second doubles was next to come to a close and the Rams duo took home a 6-3 win against
Carrie Lord and
Sofia Sperandei that secured the doubles point for West Chester. The Rams also won at the top flight, 6-3, over
Eva Kading and
Soleil Namunyola.
Singles
- The Rams won the first singles match to finish at No. 6 in a 6-4, 6-0 win over Coutts.
- West Chester pushed its lead to 3-0 at the top flight in a 6-3, 6-2 win against WC's Kading.
- In second singles, Namunyola got the Shorewomen their first win of the day in a three-setter, 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-4) triumph.
- Sorhegui cut the Rams lead to 3-2 at No. 3 with a pair of 7-5 wins.
- The Rams clinched the match at No. 4 with a 3-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-6) win versus Speradei.

Jayda Browne won at No. 5 in the final match to finish, 7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (7-2)

- The Shorewomen are 2-1 on the season, while the Rams are 2-4.
