CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting #39 Franklin & Marshall won four out of six singles matches, including the final match to finish at No. 6, to get past host #59 Washington College, 4-3, on Tuesday afternoon in a Centennial Conference men's tennis match inside the Johnson Fitness Center.

Doubles
- The Shoremen earned the point in doubles by winning the last two doubles matches. F&M won the first match to finish at No. 3 with a 6-1 result against
Jorge Urgal Zuleta and
Demir Isiker. The Shoremen evented doubles with victory at the top flight as
Sihoo Kim and
Tichi Chialva came away with a 6-3 win. The doubles point came down to second doubles and Washington's
Aaradith Ravichandran and
Oskar Wroblewski rallied from 4-3 down to take a 6-4 win and gain the point for the home side.
Singles
- The Diplomats won the first singles match to conclude at No. 4 with a 6-1, 6-4 score over Urgal Zuleta to tie it at 1-1.
- F&M took a 6-4, 6-0 win at third singles versus WC's
Kohl Perkins.
- Fifth singles went to the road side in a 6-0, 6-1 win to give F&M a 3-1 advantage.
- Ravichandran kept Washington's hopes alive with a three-set comeback win at No. 2, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.
- Kim would level the match at 3-3 at No. 1 with a 4-6, 6-4, 7-5 win, rallying from a 5-4 deficit in the third set.
- F&M would grab the win at No. 6 by scores of 6-3, 6-4 versus Wroblewski.
Notes
- The Shoremen are 8-5 on the season and 3-1 in the Centennial, while the Diplomats are 6-8 and 2-2 respectively.
