FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Sophomore
Petter Storberg (Hovik, Akershus, Norway/Stabekk VGS) reached the semifinal round of B1 Singles to highlight the Washington College men's tennis team's trip to the ITA Southeast Regionals yesterday and today on the campus of Mary Washington University. Storberg was one of seven Shoremen to compete at the regionals.
ITA Southeast Regionals
Singles
- Storberg started his run to the semifinals of B1 Singles with a 7-6 (8-6), 6-1 win over an opponent from Johns Hopkins in the Round of 16 before topping a player Haverford 6-3, 6-1. The sophomore's quest for the B1 Singles crown came to close in the semifinal round, falling to a member of the Swarthmore team, 6-1, 6-1.

Oscar Lundsfryd took victory in the Championship Singles Draw Round of 64 with a 7-6 (7-2), 3-6, 1-0 (10-2) triumph against a foe from Carnegie Mellon.

Maxi Synnestvedt and
Aksel Tinnes-Rimehaug each won their Round of 16 match in B2 Singles against a player from Batten with Synnestvedt securing a 7-6 (7-5), 6-2 win and Tinnes-Rimehaug prevailing in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3.
Doubles
- Storberg and
Oskar Wroblewski won their first match in the Round of 16 of the B1 Flight as the duo took down a tandem from Stevens, 8-4.
