FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Host #23 Mary Washington got the better of visiting Washington College, 5-2, in a non-conference match on Saturday morning at the Tennis Center.  Â

Doubles
- The 23rd ranked Eagles won all three in doubles to take the doubles point. The top flight ended first with a 6-0 win for Mary Washington against
Maxi Synnestvedt and
Tichi Chialva. Second doubles was the middle match to conclude and it was a 6-3 result for the Eagles over the Shoremen's
Jorge Urgal Zuleta and
Oskar Wroblewski. The last match to end was a 6-3 win for the home side over Washington's
Kohl Perkins and
Demir Isiker.
Singles
- The Eagles won the first singles match to finish at No. 6, with a 6-0, 6-2 win against Wroblewski.
- First singles ended next and it was 6-4, 6-2 win for the hosts versus Chialva.
- No. 5 was the third of six to come to a close as the home side downed
Petter Storberg, 6-4, 6-3.
- The fourth match to reach its conclusion was No. 2 singles as Mary Washington took a 6-2, 6-4 score against Synnestvedt.
- Perkins got the Shoremen's first win of the match in a 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-6) victory at fourth singles.
- Urgal Zuleta netted WC its second and final win of the morning in a 6-0, 4-6, 7-5 result at No. 3.
Notes
- The #23 Eagles are now 3-0 on the season, while the Shoremen drop to 1-2.
- Mary Washington is named for the mother of George Washington.
