LYNCHBURG, Va. – Visiting Washington College won five out of six in singles to overcome a loss in doubles to take a 5-2 win against Hampden-Sydney on Sunday at Boonsboro Country Club to complete a pair of victories this weekend in Virginia after edging host Randolph yesterday, 4-3.

Doubles
- Hampden-Sydney took all three doubles matches via the tiebreak to take the doubles point. The Tigers second team won 7-6 (7-5) in the first match to conclude versus
Jorge Urgal Zuleta and
Oskar Wroblewski. Hampden-Sydney's top flight prevailed in the tiebreak 11-9 to win 7-6 against
Tichi Chialva and
Maxi Synnestvedt in the second match to finish. Third doubles was the last to come to a close and Hampden-Sydney took it by a 7-6 (7-1) score from
Kohl Perkins and
Petter Storberg.
Singles
- Synnestvedt at second singles won the opening match to finish at 6-4, 6-2.
- Chialva netted a win for the Shoremen at the top flight, 6-4, 6-3.
- No. 3 singles went the way of Perkins for WC in a 6-1, 6-2 result to make it 3-1.
- Hampden-Sydney stayed alive with a win at fourth singles, 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-1) versus Urgal Zuleta.
- Fifth singles won the match for the Shoremen with Wroblewski taking it 7-5, 6-4.

Demir Isiker completed the victory for WC in three sets, taking it 1-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-4) at No. 6.
