CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting #26 Mary Washington topped host #67 Washington College, 6-1, on Friday afternoon at the Schottland Tennis Center in non-conference women's tennis action.

Doubles
- The Eagles took all three doubles matches to net the doubles point. Mary Washington won the first doubles match to conclude at No. 2 in a 6-1 win against
Isabella Sorhegui and
Gaby Coutts. The top flight was the clincher for the Eagles as
Addison Felts and
Natalie Kim, ranked second in the Atlantic South region recorded a 6-1 victory
Soleil Namunyola and
Eva Kading. Third doubles was the last to come to a close and it was a 6-4 result for Mary Washington versus
Juanita Arbelaez and
Sofia Sperandei.
Singles
- The Eagles tallied a 6-2, 6-2 decision at third singles against Sorhegui.
- Felts, ranked 11th in the region, made it 3-0 for the road side with a 6-1, 6-0 win against Arbelaez.
- The visitors secured the victory with a 6-4, 6-3 score at No. 6 versus
Samy Fawzi Sanchez.
- Namunyola took the first set at No. 2 by a 6-4 score, but dropped the next two sets, 0-6, 4-6.
- Mary Washington got the better of Kading at four, 7-5, 6-2.

Jess Wilde picked up the win for WC in a 6-2, 4-6, 1-0 (10-3) at fifth singles.

- The Shorewomen are 7-7 on the season, while the Eagles, ranked sixth in the Atlantic South Region are 8-4 on the season.
