GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Visiting #49 Washington College trailed Gettysburg, 3-1, before winning the last three matches to secure a 4-3 win and net a spot in the 2026 Centennial Conference Tournament at the Bullets Tennis Courts on Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference men's tennis action.

Doubles
- The Bullets took two of three matches for the doubles point. The Shoremen's duo of
Petter Storberg and
Demir Isiker took the first doubles match to conclude, 6-4, at No. 2. The top spot was next to finish and it went to Gettysburg, 6-2, versus
Maxi Synnestvedt and
Oskar Wroblewski. Doubles would come down to the third spot as the home side captured it, 7-6 (7-4) against
Tichi Chialva and
Kohl Perkins.
Singles
- Chialva got the Shoremen their first point of the match with a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 1.
- The Bullets won at the fifth spot, 6-1, 6-3 against Storberg to take a 2-1 lead.
- Gettysburg prevailed at No. 6, 6-3, 6-2 versus Wroblewski to push its advantage to 3-1.
- Perkins began the rally with a 7-5, 6-1 triumph at the four spot to cut the Bullets lead to 3-2.
- Isiker would tie the match at 3-3 with a comeback 3-6, 6-2, 7-5 victory at third singles.
- Second singles would determine the victor and Synnestvedt would deliver a 3-6, 7-6 (9-7), 6-3 win to complete the comeback.
Notes
- Washington is now 9-9 overall and Gettysburg goes to 5-10. The Shoremen are now 4-3 in the Centennial, while the Bullets are 2-4.
- The Shoremen will be competing in their 14th conference tournament which started in 2006.
