#11 Bullets Down Shorewomen, 19-7

Washington to Visit Swarthmore on Wednesday in CC Tournament First Round

CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting #11 Gettysburg topped host Washington College, 19-7, on Saturday afternoon on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby Jr. Stadium in Centennial Conference women's lacrosse action. The Bullets conclude the regular season at 12-5 overall and 7-1 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen finish the regular campaign at 10-6 and 4-4 respectively.

The Shorewomen will be the five seed in next week's Centennial Tournament and will visit Swarthmore on Wednesday.

How It Happened
- The Bullets scored the game's first four goals to lead 4-0 with 8:57 to go in the opening quarter.
- Washington got two back to trim the lead to 4-2 after one with Anna Wilson scoring from Malery Andrews with 2:09 left in the first stanza.
- Leading 8-4 with 4:06 to go in the second quarter following a goal by Washington's Piper Evans, Gettysburg scored the final four goals to take a 12-4 lead into halftime.
- In the third, Gettysburg held a 4-1 advantage and in the fourth it was 3-2 Bullets.

For The Shorewomen (10-6, 4-4 CC)
- Scoring: Mia Salvatierra (four goals, five points), Wilson (two goals)
- In Goal: Maddy Kissinger (60:00, eight saves, 19 goals)
- MaryCate Anson (three draws), Madison Maguire (two caused turnovers), Salvatierra (three ground balls)
- WC went 10-for-13 in clears, went 4-for-5 in free position shots and picked up 17 ground balls.
- The Shorewomen totaled 18 shots, notched four caused turnovers and had 16 turnovers in the game.
