FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Washington College women's tennis team traveled to the campus of Mary Washington this past Friday and Saturday to participate in the 2026 ITA Southeast Regional.

Samy Fawzi Sanchez topped a tandem from Centennial Conference rival Gettysburg in the Blue Consolation Quarterfinal, 8-4. Also in the Blue Consolation Quarterfinal, the duo of
Julieta Alvarez and
Gaby Coutts bested a pair from Salisbury, 8-3.
Singles
- Alvarez and
Jayda Browne each netted a win in the Blue 2 Round of 16 singles draw. Alvarez won 6-2, 6-3 against a player from St. Mary's (Md.) and Browne topped an opponent from Batten, 6-0, 6-3.
