BEFORE WC: Completed high school in 2005, then spent a year training in Barcelona, Spain, at an elite tennis academy ... has played in national tournaments in Spain and a local tournament in Barcelona ... advanced to the semifinals of a Barcelona tournament ... played with top 300 Spanish players in "Elitennis," a top academy in Barcelona ... has been playing tennis for over 10 years in the United States, Puerto Rico, Switzerland, and Spain.
