The Running Club is perfect for runners of all experience levels! We love to run so come out to run with us around Chestertown and the surrounding area. Running in a group is safer, more fun, and a great way to meet new people. If running solo is better for you, however, we also send out weekly workout plans to keep you on track with club. Not ready to run yet? No problem, we also go for walks on the nearby trail.
If you want to compete against other colleges, we got you covered. We can participate in cross country meets in the fall and track meets in the spring as unattached runners in varsity meets. We can also schedule less intense meets with other running clubs like we did in the Spring of 2024 against Loyola (MD). In the fall of 2018, the women's team took home first place in the Penn State University Mont Alto Invitational.  Participating in meets is not mandatory, it's just an option.
Beyond competition and practice, we also host running events for students on campus. In Spring 2024, we hosted a Color Run which we plan to make an annual event and we plan to host a Turkey Trot in Fall 2024. Whether you want to stay active, lose some weight or vie for gold, the Running Club is the place for you. For more information, please contact:
