Visiting Teams' Broadcasting/Webcasting Notice
Washington College Athletics conducts live video and audio broadcasts of all home men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, men's basketball, women's basketball, men's soccer, women's soccer, field hockey, and volleyball games and live audio broadcasts of all home baseball and softball games via GooseNationTV.com . All of our broadcasts feature commentary and we encourage our visiting opponents to link to said broadcasts on their web sites.
Washington College Athletics understands that some schools may have their own student radio or other broadcasters who wish to conduct their own audio broadcasts from our facilities. Please understand that, due to space restraints and cross-broadcast noise considerations, we cannot provide your broadcasters with a space in our lacrosse/soccer/field hockey, baseball, or softball press boxes. We will make every effort to accomodate them in some other fashion, provided advance notice is given. There is no press box or additional room at the scorers' table inside Cain Athletic Center, but we have usually been able to accomodate visiting broadcasters inside the gym in some fashion.
There are no land phone lines at our baseball and softball fields. We also cannot guarantee access to land phone lines in Roy Kirby, Jr. Stadium or inside Cain Athletic Center. Depending on where we are able to seat them, there may be access to campus wired and/or wireless internet inside Cain Athletic Center or Roy Kirby, Jr. Stadium. Both networks require a web-based log-in. We may also be able to provide internet access at any of our facilities by granting access to one of our 4G mobile hotspots. Again, please provide us with as much advance notice as possible and we will hopefully be able to work something out.
Under no circumstances are visiting schools permitted to conduct live VIDEO broadcasts or webcasts of any varsity athletic events at Washington College. In addition, audio broadcasts from scrimmages or non-traditional season exhibition games are not permitted.
