Maggie Allison

Maggie Allison joined the Shorewomen Lacrosse coaching staff in October of 2022. She arrives in Chestertown after serving as an assistant coach at Indian River High School, her alma mater, in Delaware last season, where she a member of the inaugural team.

In her two seasons at Washington College, she helped the team reach the semifinal round of the Centennial Conference Tournament on both occasions.

Prior to Indian River, Allison had her first collegiate coaching job serving as an assistant coach at Hood during the 2021 season as she helped the Blazers reach the MAC Commonwealth Tournament.

Allison, who started her career at Towson in 2016, transferred to Mount St. Mary's for the 2017 season and notched 12 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers in her first season with the Mountaineers, ranking third on the team in caused turnovers. As a sophomore in 2018, Allison helped Mount St. Mary's reach the NEC Tournament as she had 26 ground balls, 14 caused turnovers and an assist in 17 games, 16 starts. She was third on the squad in caused turnovers and fourth in ground balls. After missing the 2019 season, she returned to play a pair of games in 2020 before the season was halted due to COVID.

She also coaches on the club level as is currently serving as head coach of Carolina Coast 2028.   

Allison earned a B.S. in Education Certification from Mount St. Mary's in December 2019.
