Cole Gifford was named assistant coach of the women's soccer program in the Spring of 2026.
Gifford returned to his alma mater after working with the Walsh University men's soccer program from 2023-25. Gifford began as the graduate assistant coach and moved to volunteer assistant while he finished his graduate degree, an MBA, in 2025. At Walsh he served as head coach of the reserve men's soccer team with an emphasis on player development. He also oversaw the youth camps at Walsh in his last year. During this time, Gifford was also the head coach for Canton Akron United Force located in Akron, Ohio.
At Washington College, Gifford was a four year member of the men's soccer program while studying to obtain his degree in History with a Secondary Education Minor.
