Box Score ALLENTOWN, PA - Host Muhlenberg College topped
visiting Washington College, 4-0, in a Centennial Conference
women's soccer game this evening in Allentown, PA.
The Mules (4-5-2, 3-1 Centennial) scored all four of
their goals in the first half. CJ Graetzer opened
the scoring when she knocked in a loose ball in the box just 2:30
into the game. Meghan O'Grady then scored on
a double assist from Graetzer and Valerie
Patriarca at 15:22. Nicolette
Miller scored back-to-back goals at 28:09 and 39:55,
respectively. Natalie Wizel assisted on Miller's
second goal. The Mules has a 10-4 advantage in shots in the first
half.
Michele Toher made six saves in the
win for the Mules. Junior goalkeeper Mallory Kahn-Johnston
(Bethel, CT/Wooster School) made six saves of her own for
the Shorewomen in her first collegiate start.
Muhlenberg finished with a 17-8 advantage in shots in
the game and recorded all four of the game's corner kicks.
Junior defender/midfielder Jennifer Kiarsis
(Rye, NY/Canterbury School [CT]) and sophomore forward
Ainsley Boynton (Radnor, PA/Westtown School) each
had two shots for Washington in the loss.
The Shorewomen (4-5-1, 0-4) return to action
Wednesday with a 4:00 p.m. Centennial Conference home game against
Ursinus.
