Green Terror Stifle Shoremen, 66-50

Breslin Nets 18 Points in Loss

WESTMINSTER, MD -- Devon Lesniak scored a game-high 19 points and swiped six of McDaniel's 17 steals as the host Green Terror defeated visiting Washington College, 66-50, in a Centennial Conference men's basketball game this afternoon in Westminster, MD. 

The Green Terror (4-4, 2-2 Centennial) never trailed in the game and held a nine-point lead at halftime. McDaniel scored the first six points of the second half and led by double figures the rest of the way. 

McDaniel's 17 steals helped force 23 turnovers for Washington (4-5, 3-2). The Green Terror also held a 38-29 advantage on the boards in the game. Lesniak shot 6-of-7 from the field and a perfect 6-of-6 at the line en route to his 19 points. Kevin Henry added 17 points, six boards, and five blocks off the bench.

Junior guard Kevin Breslin (Hagerstown, MD/St. Maria Goretti) led the Shoremen with 18 points, while junior forward Adam Naymick (Hanover, PA/Delone Catholic) scored 11. 

The Shoremen return to action one week from today with a 2:00 p.m. non-conference game at Hood.
