CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting McDaniel scored a pair of first half goals en route to a 3-0 win over host Washington College at Kibler Field at Roy Kirby, Jr. Stadium on Saturday afternoon in a Centennial Conference women's soccer match.  The Green Terror improves to 11-5-0 and 5-4-0 in the conference, while the Shorewomen drop to 4-10-2 and 1-8-0 respectively.

McDaniel got onto the scoreboard with 10:20 left in the first half when Maggie Quinn stole the ball from the Washington defense and took a left-footed shot from the top of the 18 and put it into the lower right corner past a diving Washington freshman goalkeeper Melissa Barry (Sparta, N.J./Sparta).  The Green Terror made it 2-0 just 6:07 later when Olivia Muro's curling shot from the left side from about 20 yards hit the right post and into the goal with Christina Wroblewski netting the assist.

Meghan Sturgill made it 3-0 with 30:53 remaining in the second half when she rebounded her own blocked shot and put it into the left side of the net off of a WC defender.

The Green Terror held a 14-7 advantage in shots and had a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.  In goal, Haley Jacobs made three saves in 71:47 of action before being relieved by Brianna Ferrara for the last 18:13 of the contest.  Barry made seven saves in the loss for the Shorewomen.
