- Washington's Emani Silva recorded the first shot on goal by either team in the 37th minute, but it was saved by Shannon Johnson-Finn.
- Silva's shot was the only shot on goal for either team in a defensive first half. F&M had three shots off target, while the Shorewomen had one.
- The Diplomats' got their first shot on goal in the 58th minute as Sabrina Graziano's attempt was stopped by Melissa Barry.
- Barry stopped another F&M shot in the 72nd, this time from Isabella Raspa.
- In the 92nd minute, Graziano had a shot saved by Barry to keep the game scoreless.
