Box Score CHESTERTOWN, Md. — Pete Christ turned in an impressive all-around game with 20 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists as the visiting Gettysburg College men's basketball team defeated host Washington College, 79-61, in a Centennial Conference game this afternoon inside Cain Athletic Center.

How It Happened
- The Bullets jumped out to a 17-4 lead and built a 37-20 advantage following a pair of made free throws by Kevin Gladstone with 2:47 remaining in the first half. The Shoremen then closed the period with an 8-0 run to get back to within nine at 37-28 on lay-up and free throw by James Drury with 14 seconds to go.
- Gettysburg held a 48-37 lead with under 15 minutes to play in the second half before running off an 8-1 run to build a 56-38 advantage following an Alex Kaslander three-pointer with 10:40 on the clock.
- The Bullets led by at least 13 points the rest of the way. They took their largest lead of the game at 72-51 on a Tanner Kirkpatrick dunk with 4:17 to go. That lead was later equalled in the final minutes of the contest.
For the Shoremen (3-15, 1-10 Centennial Conference) 3-14, 1-9
- Drury had 11 points for the Shoremen, while Brandon Berry and Tas Dixon each scored 10. Berry's 10 were a career high. Dave Knox added a team-best nine rebounds.
For Gettysburg (14-5, 9-3 Centennial Conference) 13-5, 8-3
- Christ shot 8-for-14 from the field, 3-for-6 from three-point range, and 1-for-2 at the foul line en route to his 20 points.
- Gladstone scored 16 points for the Bullets, Cody Kiefer has 12, and Cam Stewart finished with 11. Kirkpatrick had a game-high 10 rebounds.
