Box Score Dudley Scores For Washington
CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Catherine Perlmutter scored the game-winning goal with 14:11 left in the game from Amber Dey to give visiting Dickinson a 2-1 win host visiting Washington College in a Centennial Conference field hockey game on Saturday afternoon at Kibler Field at Roy Kirby Jr. Stadium.

How It Happened
- The Red Devils struck just 1:42 into the game when Chelsea Kramer scored from the right side near the end line as her shot found its way into the left side of the goal.
- Dickinson almost made it 2-0 with just over 11 minutes left in the opening half, but Washington's Maggie Cancelmo tied up the Red Devils' Taylor Bednar in front of the goal to prevent Bednar from getting a shot off.
- Washington almost evened the game with 7:34 to go in the first half on a shot by Natalie Theriault, but her shot was denied on a defensive save by Kim Monteferante.
- The Shorewomen tied the game with 4:09 remaining in the first half when Alli Dudley tipped in a pass from Jen Tordella into the cage as she got her stick in front of Dickinson goalie Freddie Bancroft.
- In the second half, Dudley almost put Washington ahead 2-1 just 3:40 into the second half, but Dickinson's Merritt Davis tallied a defensive save.
- The Red Devils took a 2-1 lead with 14:11 to go in the game as Dey from the right side of the circle passed it over to Perlmutter who chipped in a shot past Washington goalie Morgan Domanico.
- The Shorewomen had six penalty corners and three shots in the final 14 minutes, but could not score. WC's final shot on goal of the game came with 3:33 to go as Bancroft turned away an Elizabeth Davis shot. Davis had the hosts' final shot with 38 ticks left in the contest, but it went just wide to the left.

Notes
- Washington has lost all four of its conference games in 2016 by one goal, three of them coming by 2-1 scores.
- Dudley set a career-high for goals in a season as she tallied her seventh for WC. She scored six in 2014. She also ties her career-best for points in a season with 14 as she had 14 two years ago.
