Box Score Dudley, Auer Score One Goal Each in Win
SWARTHMORE, Pa. — The Washington College field hockey team posted its third consecutive victory this afternoon, winning a Centennial Conference game at Swarthmore College by a 2-1 count. All three goals in the game were scored in the first half.

How It Happened
- It took more than 10 minutes of game time before either team got a shot off, but the Shorewomen's Alli Dudley made the most of the game's first shot, scoring off a hard ball sent into the circle by Elizabeth Davis with 24:21 to play in the first half.
- Olivia Auer upped the lead to 2-0 with some nifty stickwork to evade Swarthmore goalkeeper Zelda Bank and send a ball under the stick of defender Jane Blicher and into the back of the cage just 2:39 after Dudley's goal.
- The Garnet got one of the goals back when Jordyn Bell scored on a loose ball during a penalty corner with 16:26 remaining in the first half.
- The Shorewomen held an 11-3 advantage in shots in the first half.
- Washington goalkeeper Morgan Domanico stopped a would-be game-tying goal by Melissa Zavez with 21:03 left in the second half.
