How It Happened
- The Mules held a 6-1 advantage in shots in the first half, but neither team managed a shot on goal. Muhlenberg also had the majority of possession and recorded five penalty corners in the period to one for the Shorewomen.
- Muhlenberg's Laura Holdman notched the first shot on goal of the game with 26:54 left in the second half, but it was saved by Washington goalkeeper Morgan Domanico.
- After Domancio saved a Taylor Smith shot, Emily Boyle sent a ball to the far post that was deflected in by Rachel Strow with 25:28 remaining for a 1-0 Muhlenberg lead.
- Olivia Auer had a chance to tie the score for the Shorewomen with 18:31 left, but her shot was saved by Muhlenberg goalkeeper Emma Rosenthal.
- The Shorewomen later had seven penalty corner in a span of just 13 minutes, but managed just three shots - none of them on goal - during those corners as the Muhlenberg defense held.
