WESTMINSTER, Md. — Host McDaniel used a 24-4 run to turn an eight point deficit into a 75-64 win over visiting Washington College in a Centennial Conference men's basketball game played tonight at the Gill Center in Westminster, Maryland.

How It Happened
- McDaniel led 7-6 with 17:24 to go in the first half following a layup from Kevin Yrizarry before the Shoremen went on a 15-5 run, capped off by a free throw from Armand del Castillo, to take a 21-12 lead with 9:13 to go in the half.
- Washington took their first double digit lead of the half after James Drury converted a traditional three point play with 5:09 to go in the half to give the Shoremen a 29-18 lead.
- The Shoremen led 33-22 with 3:05 to go in the half following a del Castillo layup before the Green Terror finished the half on a 10-4 run to cut the Washington lead to 37-32 at the half.
- McDaniel scored the first 14 points to start the second half, capped off by a DJ Harper free throw, to take a 46-37 lead with 12:46 remaining in the game. The layup was the last of 17 consecutive points scored by the Green Terror, who kept the Shoremen off the scoreboard for a stretch of 8:24 during the run.
- A three pointer from James McGovern gave McDaniel it's first double digit lead of the night at 51-41 with 11:06 to go.
- A Dallas Marshall layup got the Shoremen back within four points at 53-49 with 8:13 to go, but McDaniel then scored the next seven points to push the lead back to double digits at 60-49 with 6:02 to go.
- McDaniel's lead fluctuated between nine and fourteen points the rest of the way.

- Washington shot 41.5% from the field, but just 36% in the second half, 31.6% from beyond the arc, and 73.7% from the free throw line.
- The Shoremen committed just nine turnovers in the game, while forcing thirteen McDaniel turnovers, which the Shoremen turned into fifteen points.
- Washington doubled up McDaniel 28-14 in bench points.
