Box Score Greer Sets Career-High With 16 Points
CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting Muhlenberg got 14 points, nine assists and eight rebounds from Nick Rindock on its way to a 79-51 over host Washington College on Saturday afternoon in a Centennial Conference men's basketball game at the Cain Athletic Center.

How It Happened
- The Mules, who never trailed, scored the game's first seven points and led 18-5 with 13:11 remaining in the first half on a Brandon LaRose jumper.
- Leading 18-9, Muhlenberg went on a 17-1 run to take a 35-10 lead with 9:06 left in the opening half on a conventional three-point play by Erik Werheim. The Mules would lead by as many as 25 on three occasions in the first half as they took a 52-28 lead into halftime.
- Washington would cut the deficit to 21 points with 12:22 to go in the second half on a Jack Greer fast-break jumper at 61-40 before Muhlenberg ended any hopes of a WC comeback with a 15-0 run to take its biggest lead of the game at 36 points, 76-40, with 5:32 to go on a Werheim dunk.
For The Shoremen (6-13, 2-10 CC)
- Greer (16 points to set career-high), Josh Porteous (14 points), , Shelton (eight rebounds to lead team and tie for game-high along with two blocks to tie for game-best), Dallas Marshall (two blocks and two steals to tie for game-best in both categories), Bryan Shapiro (two steals to tie for team lead).
- The Shoremen outscored the Mules in points off of turnovers (12-10) and bench points (32-20).
- The Shoremen shot 30% (16-for-53) from the floor, 32% (10-for-31) from three-point range and 64% (9-for-14) from the foul line.
- Washington had 17 turnovers.
For Muhlenberg (11-7, 6-6 CC)
- Rindock (14 points, game-high nine assists, tied for tops in boards with eight and steals with two), Werheim (contest-high 17 points and eight rebounds to match game-high), Jon Schreer (14 points), Kevin Miller (two steals).
- The Mules shot 48% (29-for-60) from the floor, 43% (9-for-21) from three-point range and 71% (12-for-17) from the free throw stripe.
- Muhlenberg outscored Washington 13-5 in second chance points, 26-8 in points in the paint and 14-2 in transition points.
- The Mules had a 39-32 advantage on the glass, while committing only 13 turnovers.
