SALISBURY, Md. — Host Salisbury University defeated visiting Washington College, 1-0, in a non-conference men's soccer game between the two Eastern Shore rivals this afternoon.

- The Sea Gulls held a 6-3 advantage in shots in the first half, including a 4-1 advantage in shots on goal.
- Salisbury's Kevin Eriksen had the first shot on goal of the second half, but his attempt was saved by Gavin Campbell in the 53rd minute.
- The Shoremen put a shot on goal in the 79th when Evan Savoth's header was saved by Salisbury goalkeeper Trevor Brookhart.
- The Sea Gulls scored the only goal of the game when Trent Hofmeister bounced a shot off the crossbar and in at 80:46.
