Box Score Zapcic Turns Away Eight Shots for Washington
CARLISLE, Pa. – Host Dickinson scored a single goal in the second and third quarters to come away with a 2-0 win over visiting Washington College in a Centennial Conference field hockey game on Saturday afternoon at Biddle Field. The Red Devils improve to 6-6 overall and 3-3 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen drop to 3-8 and 2-4 respectively.

How It Happened
- Each team had two shots in the first quarter, but neither team could score.
- Hannah Spiri gave Dickinson the lead with 5:50 left in the second quarter as it was the hosts' second shot following a penalty corner taken 22 seconds earlier.
- The Red Devils took all three shots in the second and led 1-0 at halftime.
- Maddie Dombroski gave Dickinson a 2-0 lead with 6:12 remaining in the third quarter on an unassisted goal to round out the scoring. The Red Devils outshot the Shorewomen in the third by a 7-1 clip.
