Less than two months ago, the Washington College Esports Club was born at an interest meeting on Februrary 12, 2019. Fifty people either showed up or expressed interest in starting an Esports Club on campus that fateful night. Since that time, three teams have been formed and the membership has grown to over 70 students. The Overwatch team was the first to form and most fittingly, the first to compete. After a month of practice, on April 10, 2019, they took on a veteran Averett University team and soundly defeated them in a sweep 4-0. Here is the roster for that history squad:
Coordinator: Mike "Sharky" Spence
Julia "Julajoop" Cunningham

Jessie "Ping Pong" Nguyen
David "Support Main" Rascoe
