Box Score Arlington, Va. – The Washington College women's soccer team put in a dominant effort to defeat the Marymount (Va.) Saints, 3-0, in a non-conference contest on Wednesday evening. The Shorewomen even their record at 6-6-2 while the hosts drop to 4-10.
How It Happened
- The Shorewomen scored just 3:13 into the match as freshman forward Reagan Longridge scored an unassisted goal for the only tally the visitors would need. Longridge curved a shot into the left-corner as the ball went through the hands of Saints' keeper Mary Mac Bradshaw.
- Sophomore midfielder Ellen Daly gave Washington College a 2-0 advantage in the 35th minute as she took a cross from senior forward Erin O'Reilly and struck a right-footed laser into the left-corner.
- O'Reilly scored her own goal in the 67th minute after taking a feed from junior midfielder Elena Hilario
