Women's Soccer Falls at No. 2 Ranked Johns Hopkins, 2-0

Baltimore, Md. – The Washington College women's soccer team was defeated by the No. 2 ranked Johns Hopkins Blue Jays, 2-0, in a Centennial Conference contest on Saturday evening at Homewood Field. The Shorewomen fell to 5-5-2 (1-3-2) while the Blue Jays improve to 9-0-1 (5-0-0).

How It Happened
- The hosts struck just 2:40 into the match following a well-placed corner kick into the center of the box by freshman midfielder Lilah Isenberg. Sophomore defender Sophia Stone headed the high-arching service over the head of Shorewomen senior keeper Noah Smith and into the lower left corner of the net.

- The Blue Jays added a second half goal as freshman forward Katie Sullivan put in a long cross from forward Riley O'Toole wih 31:39 remaining. O'Toole sent a cross from the right corner sideline to the far post and onto the foot of the open Sullivan, who beat Smith from point-blank range.
