Box Score ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Host Muhlenberg got a penalty kick goal from Paige Addis in the 59th minute for the lone goal of the match in a 1-0 win over visiting Washington College at Varsity Field in Centennial Conference women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon. The Mules improve to 1-5-1 overall and 1-2-0 in the Centennial, while the Shorewomen slip to at 4-3-2 and 0-1-2 respectively.

How It Happened
- Washington had the first shot on goal in the contest in the 12th minute on a header by Erin O'Reilly, but her header was stopped by Muhlenberg goalie Sara Pecorelli.
- Alexandra Chirinkin of the Mules had the best chance in the first half to score the first goal in the final seconds of the opening half, but the Shorewomen's Noah Smith mishandled the shot and got behind her, but the defense was able to clear it out to keep the game scoreless as it entered halftime.
- In the second half, Emily Cevallos was fouled in the box with 31:09 left and the Mules were awarded a penalty kick. Addis put the penalty kick into the left side of the goal to put the hosts ahead 1-0.
- Ellen Daly nearly had the equalizer in the 67th minute for the Shorewomen, but her shot went just high.
- Emily Morris from about 15 yards in the 83rd minute had a shot to draw even, but was over the crossbar.
- Daly had another chance to tie the game, but her shot sailed just over the crossbar with 3:38 to go in the match.
- Gillian Slavick had the final chance to tie the contest for the Shorewomen, but her shot went wide left as time expired.
