Box Score Rivera Sets Career-High with 11 Saves
CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Visiting #5 Salisbury jumped out to a 2-0 halftime lead on its way to a 3-0 win over host Washington College in a non-conference field hockey game on Wednesday evening on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby, Jr. Stadium. The Sea Gulls improve to 1-2 on the year, while the Shoremen fall to 2-1.

How It Happened
- Julia Frankis would give the Sea Gulls the only goal they needed 9:35 into the first quarter as she finished off a pass from Allie Davis from six yards out. Salisbury led 1-0 after one quarter.
- Salisbury would take a 2-0 lead with 3:56 left in the second quarter when Emmalee Moore redirected a feed from Allie Williams and that would be the halftime score.
- The Shorewomen's best chance to get onto the board came 3:45 into the third quarter as shot by Kate Gromacki went just wide of the upper right corner off of a penalty corner.
- McKenzie Jamison concluded the scoring with 27 seconds left in the fourth quarter after she tipped a Rebecca Lloyd pass from the right side.
