Senior field hockey player Jillian Brejnik (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Brejnik scored a goal in each game in a 2-0 week for the Shorewomen.

In Wednesday's 3-2 win over Swarthmore, Brejnik gave Washington College the lead for good 1:52 into the third quarter as she tipped in a pass from Kyra Heap.In Saturday's 6-2 victory at Gettysburg, just 24 seconds after the Bullets cut the lead to 3-2, Brejnik ignited a game-ending three-goal run for WC weaving through the Gettysburg defense to make it 4-2 with 12:31 left in the fourth quarter.

This is Brejnik's first career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
